Dr. Sangeetha N.R. has been working Assistant Professor in General Education at Sree Narayan Training College since 2009. Her areas of interest include Educational Psychology, Adolescent Counselling, Research Methodology and Community Extension Services. She secured fourth rank for B. Sc. (Home Science), Kerala University in 2000, fourth rank for M Sc (Home Science- Child Development) in 2002, Mahathma Gandhi University and third rank for B.Ed (Home Science) in 2003, Kerala University. She has qualified UGC-NET (Education) in 2006 and UGC -NET (Home Science) in 2004. She was awarded Ph.D In Education in 2018.She is a recipient of Dr. P. K Sudheesh Kumar Memorial Award for Best Researcher in Education 2014, at the International Seminar on “Redefining Educational Practices Integrating Indian Epistemology and Modern Cognitive Neuroscience” held at NVKSD College of Education, Attore, Kanyakumari. She was a member of the committee in connection with the drafting of two year B.Ed curriculum 2015 undertaken by the Faculty of Education Board of Studies in Education (Pass), University of Kerala. She was the best out-going student, Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Kumarapuram Trivandrum-2003. The academic positions held include Staff Editor, College Magazine 2013-2014, Coordinator, Gandhi study unit SNTC Nedunganda, Staff Advisor 2016-2017 and co-ordinator, Research and Extension progrmammes 2017-18.
